Under instructions from my client, [ClientName], I hereby serve upon you this notice regarding a dishonoured negotiable instrument:
1. That you issued Cheque No. [ChequeNo] dated [ChequeDate] for an amount of PKR [ChequeAmount]/- drawn on [BankName] in discharge of your lawful liability.
2. That upon presentation for encashment, the said cheque was dishonoured by the bank vide Bank Return Memo dated [MemoDate] with the remarks: "[DishonourReason]".
3. That you issued the said cheque dishonestly and fraudulently, knowing fully well that sufficient funds were not available, which constitutes a cognizable criminal offence under Section 489-F of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) punishable with imprisonment up to 3 years.
PEREMPTORY DEMAND:
You are hereby called upon to pay the cheque amount of PKR [ChequeAmount]/- in cash/cleared funds within 14 days of this notice, failing which an FIR under Section 489-F PPC will be lodged with the local Police Station along with civil recovery proceedings under Order XXXVII CPC.
